Summer Fun 2008
FREE BREAKFAST & LUNCH PROGRAM
Sponsored by City of Dinuba Parks & Community Services (Grades 1st thru 8th) Summer Fun 2008 sponsored by the City of Dinuba Parks & Community Services Department will begin June 2 thru July 25, 2008.
Locations are Rose Ann Vuich Park, Delgado Park, Jefferson School, and North Park Apartments. Summer Fun hours are 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. The cost is $1.00 per day with pre-paid cards available in denominations of $5.00, $10.00, or $20.00.
Activities include sports, games, crafts, field trips, water play, and lots more summer fun. Every week will feature a new theme including Safari Week, Summer Olympics, Patriotic Week, Under the Sea Week, Kings, Queens & Castles Week, and Beach Fun Week. After School Program All Stars Club
The City of Dinuba Parks & Community Services After-School All Stars Club will continue to meet on the Grand View, Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt & Wilson School Campuses during the 2008-09 school year. Our program offers creative after school activities for grades 1st-6th. We keep kids busy, happy and safe in the after school hours between 2:00 & 5:30pm. Organized cooking, tennis, fitness, art, drama puppets, chess, science, dance, music, language, journalism & more! Please call 591-5940 x 102 for more information.

Parks & Community Services Commission
The Commission serves as an advisory board to the City Council. The Commission is comprised of seven members, 5 of which represent the Council Districts and 2 serve at-large. The Commission discusses and provides input on matters relating to parks and recreation facilities and programs. They assist in the development of the City's Capital Improvement to the Parks & Community Services Department.
The Commission meets the third Tuesday of each month in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Meetings begin at 6:00pm and the public is welcome to speak on matters, issues, and concerns relating to parks and facilities, programs and events.

Pro-Youth Dinuba Commission
The role of the Pro-Youth Dinuba Commission is to serve as an advisory commission to the Dinuba City Council and the Parks and Community Services Department.
To provide support and funding for youth activities, programs and needs that fall outside the traditional funding of the city's regular budget process and normal city programs and activities.
Pro-Youth Dinuba will be the primary youth fund raising componet for city youth programs, services and events not normally funded or operated by the City of Dinuba. To provide use of Pro-Youth's 501(c) 3 for partnering with youth related programs and that are in need of that status for donation or programmatic purposes.
Commissioners are appointed by their reprective council member and serve for 3 year terms. For more information on the commission or appointment requirements, contact the departmet at (559) 591-5940.

Senior Citizens , Inc.:
Dinuba has a full services Senior Center that provides a variety of social and recreational activities, including daily bingo, ceramics, band, tours, and quilting.
